Day Trading
Day Trading, sometimes called Intra-day trading or short-term trading refers to the buying and selling of sto
cks within a day.
Daytraders will buy their stocks, shares, cfds, options, eminis, currency or commodities and sell them in the same day. Sometimes a trade will last almost the entire day, at other times a trade might last just a few minutes. Traders of this strategy can trade around the clock on the various world markets. They can automate the process somewhat by setting limits to enter trades and limits to take profits, but this strategy is best done actively and so people who suit this strategy are those who don’t mind sitting and watching the market for their entry and exit points.
Day traders can enjoy being part of a trading room community to help them through hours of market watching. There are many kinds of trading rooms: some free and some by subscription that daytraders can become members of. Traders will often learn a lot from others in these trading rooms and in forums for discussion about trades, trading, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, trading plans and more.
With adequate training, day trading can be enormously profitable. However, as with any type of trading, there are pitfalls if you don’t quite understand the game. As many day-traders will attest to, the price of being properly educated is infinitely cheaper and a lot less painful and stressful than self-education.
